Keystone Makers is a 501c3 registered charity in the state of Pennsylvania with the goal of reducing the barrier to entry to and furthering the access of the community to STEAM education and workforce development opportunities. My job duties vary, from setting organizational goals and strategies, operating as the public face of the organization, managing vendor relationships, managing my staff and board of directors, to speaking at events, and fundraising/grant writing activities.

Advisory Security Analyst

As a senior level employee in the infosec department, my key job functions are to provide security guidance and strategy for the organization, architect secure solutions to support business goals, manage projects and vendors, and develop, track, and report KPIs to executive leadership.

My key accomplishments include the implementation of a critical incident response runbook, the migration of our vendor management program to a centralized platform, implementation of a Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) products, redesigning our Vulnerability Management Program to focus on shorter remediation times and remedation of high value targets, redesigning business processes around identity verification and payment processing resulting in a more secure payment process for customers, and management of projects with stakeholders across multiple lines of business

Interim Network Security Manager

Key Accomplishments: developed departmental strategy, performed a baseline security audit to identify operational deficiencies and implemented solutions to resolve them, strengthened inter-departmental relationships resulting in a more collaborative environment, spearheaded patching initatives to bring the organization into compliance with industry standards and best practices, managed the security aspects of network integration during a merger, completed risk assessments, maintained compliance with CCPA and NY DFS regulations, implemented customer facing two factor authentication for our payment process, reduced security spend by ending contracts for underutilized and redundant products, and managed our incident response program.

Network Security Engineer

Key Accomplishments: led iniatives to standardize operations, implemented Logrhythm SIEM, implemented DUO two factor authentication across on-prem and cloud systems, implemented SecureLink secure vendor access solution, implemented Firemon firewall monitoring solution, developed and managed employee cybersecurity education program, and selected and onboarded an MSSP to agument our staff.

Information Security Engineer / Information Security Operations Engineer

Handled day to day security operations including change advisory board, vulnerability management, incident response, and security audits.

Systems Administrator

Managed 21 server environments and over 500 client machines across the US and UK, and migrated the server environment to Azure and Office 365.

Systems Engineer

Provided on-site and remote support for 70+ businesses running Windows Server and desktop environments throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

Provided remote support for 100+ businesses running Windows Server and desktop environments throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

Advisory Board Member - Strategic Artificial Intelligence Program

In this role, I am tasked with advising the teaching staff of this program on current industry trends and helping students navigate the curriculum.
